General Description

Blyth Harbour Commissioners is looking for an Apprentice to train in Administration. The ideal candidate must be willing and able to work flexible shift patterns during busy periods and be numerate & literate. As part of your day to day duties you will be managing diaries and organise meetings and appointments.

Main Duties

What will the apprentice be doing?

Act as a first point of contact: dealing with correspondence and phone calls
Book and arrange travel, transport, and accommodation
Type, compile, and prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence
Process new sales orders and general data processing requests
Manage databases and filing systems
Take care of orders of office supplies and other materials
Record dispatch notes, receipts and stock information
