General Description

As a Process Technician Apprentice, you won’t just be watching from the sidelines. You will be “learning by doing” – gaining the technical skills required to operate, monitor, and maintain sophisticated industrial equipment.

Main Duties

What you’ll do at work

As a Process Technician Apprentice, you won’t just be watching from the sidelines. You will be “learning by doing” – gaining the technical skills required to operate, monitor, and maintain sophisticated industrial equipment.

You’ll work alongside seasoned engineers to ensure our production lines are hitting targets without compromising on safety.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Monitoring Systems – Learning to read gauges, flowmeters, and digital control panels to keep the “vitals” of the plant stable
  • Troubleshooting – Identifying why a machine isn’t performing at 100% and assisting with the fix e.g. Calibrations & speed checks
  • Quality Control – Taking samples and performing basic lab tests to ensure the final product meets exact specifications
  • Safety First – Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and wearing the proper PPE to maintain a “zero-incident” environment
  • Maintenance – Learning the difference between preventive maintenance and emergency repairs
