General Description

We will provide you with the correct skills and experience to further your career with the support you need to perform to your full potential. You will learn MIG welding, fabrication, handheld plasma cutting and oxy cutting and gouging, and how to read engineering drawings. BTec Level 3 and practical training will take place at TDR in Longbenton.

As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.

We are looking to recruit a welding and fabrication apprentice. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a “can do” attitude looking to join a successful, progressive company who is a leading manufacturer of buckets, quick couplers, and other earth-moving attachments.

To be successful, you will need to demonstrate a commitment to working as part of a team and have a flexible, logical, and analytical approach to problem-solving.

You must be punctual, reliable and have a keen willingness to learn.
