Business Administration Apprentice (Salamander)

Main Duties

What will the apprentice be doing?

1. General administrative duties including letters and mail merges

2. Prepare and ensure all post is franked and ready for postal collection.

3. Raise & process daily RMA’s , cash sales and TSR’s onto Vanatge, ensuring accuracy of input and filing/scanning of necessary paperwork

4. Process Purchase Orders on day received flagging any pricing queries to the sales supervisor

5. Process sales/payments for all accessories and pumps using Sage Pay

6. Arrange customer collections using relevant courier software and log any problems arising with the couriers on the relevant spreadsheet

7. To support other Sales Administrator who may have different/other duties especially during times of absence such as holidays or sickness

8. Answer and deal with inbound telephone calls from customers, installers or merchants and direct to relevant department/staff member where necessary

9. Outbound Sales Calls promoting new products and existing products on promotion (not cold calling)

10. Deliver excellent customer service at all times and ensure to follow to Data Protection laws

11. Ensure to carry out basic housekeeping duties as and when required to ensure office space is kept clean and tidy as much as possible

12. Ensure to adhere to companies Health & Safety policy & procedures

13. To take on any additional duties requested by your Manager

14. To undertake any training deemed necessary to benefit the needs of the business

What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?

Business Administrator standard level 3

All training will be on site at the employers premises, you will have a trained assessor visit you in the workplace

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Full time position on completion of the apprenticeship
