Local Exhaust & Ventilation (LEV) is an engineering system designed to reduce employee exposure to airborne contaminants (dust, mist, fume, vapour, gas) in the workplace by capturing the emission at source and transporting it to a safe emission point or to a filter/scrubber.
This course will provide an understanding of risks within the work environment their legal and duty-bound obligations to use control measures as well as best practises to ensure the environment is safe to work in. It will demonstrate knowledge of work exposure limits, control of substances and contaminants becoming airborne.
Duration: 2 days
Upon completion of the 2-day theory, practical training and written test (1 hour) TDR certification for the course will be awarded.
