Your employer will choose an end-point assessment organisation (EPAO) to deliver the EPA. Your employer and training provider should tell you what to expect and how to prepare for your EPA.

The technical qualification is only one part of the full apprenticeship programme. An apprenticeship develops practical skills, technical knowledge and workplace behaviours while the apprentice is employed and gaining real industry experience.
If the Level 3 qualification already achieved is relevant to the apprenticeship standard, the overall duration of the programme may be reduced through recognition of prior learning.
TDR Training is different from a traditional college.
Every learner attending TDR for practical training, a BTEC or an HNC is employed by an engineering employer. They are therefore expected to behave in the same way as they would in the workplace.

No. As an apprentice, you do not pay for your training.
The cost of apprenticeship training is funded through government funding and employer contributions.
Employers are responsible for paying their apprentice a wage. Depending on the size of the business and, in some circumstances, the age of the apprentice, a contribution towards training costs may be required.
