Back in November 2009 TDR commenced the first programme of the North East Management Academy.
Made up of 11 people from 5 regional companies; Crabtree of Gateshead (Austin Wilson, Darrin Lloyd) Contitech Beattie (Glen Lupton), Komatsu (John Lawson, Dale Green Gary Allison, Gary Wright), Renolit (Shaun Goldsborough, Brent Hogg, Martin Allen) and Sanofi Aventis (Kathryn Long).
All 11 learners attended 8 seminars focusing on the key elements of Leadership and Management.
The programme then concluded on 27th May with a chance for the group to reflect on the past 6 months, and let their hair down and swing through the trees like monkeys with an afternoon at Go Ape! Some monkeys were a little more nervous than others, but every one of them showed great courage, teamwork and support throughout - well done to everyone.
A HUGE "thank you" to the group for their contribution, motivation, and fantastic achievement over the past 6 months.
