Linda Croudace (Manager Science Apprenticeship Solutions) was awarded a research development fellowship by LSIS and IfL to look at developing a programme of delivery of specific transitional skills for vocational science and engineering learners, with a view to improve, in the longer term, progression to, and achievement in, further and higher education.
In actual fact Linda concentrated on Active Listening and Effective Note Taking as a starting point with a view to develop a programme to cover the other skills later in the year.
