TDR have a robust recruitment programme to pre select suitable candidates. This involves an application process including an interview and some basic numeracy, communication and science testing. CV's of successful candidates are then sent to the employers so that they can implement their own selection process.
TDR arrange for registration for all elements of the Apprenticeship and monitor college progress. Qualified staff assess the NVQ competencies in the workplace. Twelve weekly reviews are also carried out to ensure good progress is being made by the learner at work and at college.
There is no cost to the employer other than the Apprenticeship Salary for which guidelines are given by the LSC.
